You are right on the modem - modem in the channel bank.....
I tried the 'd', didn't make a difference. I also played with 
rxgain/txgain since the FXO did seem a little 'quiet', no luck.

Anybody have any ideas? If I use the same modem/cabling direct
to the wall jack, it will train.
