Hi guys,
I just ran into a funny issue here.
I'm trying to virtualize our asterisk pbx onto vmware esxi. Here's a quick
glance of the system:
* Ubuntu 9.10 i386 with linux-rt kernel (to get 1000Hz timer) everything
up2date.
* Asterisk 1.6.2.6

And I've just done another test. With stock ubuntu 9.10 i386 and sample
asterisk config files, I have the same result. VMWare shows no crazy
stats of disk access nor memory usage. Just 100% cpu load. I selected
Mail Server and OpenSSH server at tasksel screen during

Hi guys,
I'm trying to move away from meetme to loose the dependency on dahdi.
ConfBridge seems to be a good fit but I can't get it going. The document
sounds like an easy to use app. Am I missing any bridge_ modules?

But for what I want to do, PTP2T + DECT is indeed the best solution. Can't beat
that on price and battery life. And find phone button will definitely be used
quite frequently! :)

DECT not Wi-Fi?
Can you get the Siemens range over there?
DECT is not wifi. It is just another digital wireless protocol built for
wireless phones.
I'm not sure what do you mean by Siemens range.

HTH,
3U leaves me more room for further expansion if my customer wanted to. Dell
2950 looks like what I wanted but the starting price is quite high. That's why
I prefer supermicro since it has a way lower starting price.

Hi guys,
I'm building a server that need to host 2 digium TDM24 cards.
I know any 3U server with 2 PCI-E slots would do. Since I do prefer supermicro
server, but getting one configured is pretty darn hard.
Any suggestions here?

Hi guys,
I have 1 zap channel in my house shared among couple people. If someone dials
911, I want that zap channel to be disconnected right away to make way for the
911 call.
I dug through voip-info.org and didn't find much.
Any hints?

Hi list,
I'm wondering if there's a way for multiple users to share the same voicemail
box and have their BLF flashing when voicemail comes, i.e. in a home phone
system where there's a general vm for everyone.
I'm using couple Grandstream GXP2020.
Any suggestions?
