I modified chan_sip.c to turn on a dsp to do fax detect based on inband dtmf
being selected. And when reading rtp if 'f' character shows up vector to
fax extension

I've deployed Iaxmodem as part of a Unified messaging platform for a Fortune
100 company and it works great.
* detects fax tones and vectors to fax extension which iaxmodem terminates.

Doug,
I've seen that and a similar thing with reversed from and to fields on a
reinvite issue I'm having in 1.4. Olle was going to look at it.

The only news is that I have not had time to work on it since last week.
However, this is the development trunk. You should _not_
utils.c at line 194 is broken.
Commenting the following fixed it for me
/*hp-hp.h_addr = hp-buf;
if (inet_pton(AF_INET, host, hp-hp.h_addr) 0)
return hp-hp;
return NULL; */

Looks like you don't have kernel development installed and a basic kernel build
config file generated.

OK.
Matthew,
I see similar timer interrupts from using ztdummy as my timing reference,
should be about 1k per sec.

Luki,
I resolved the problem by disabling the sending of RTCP messages from my Xten
device.
Most of the links that I found had made mention of Xten devices and by playing
with the rtp settings it's gone away.
The version that I'm running is : Asterisk CVS-v1-0-02/07/05-13:38:13
Thanks for
Nabeel,
Works for me see below.
exten = _1NXXNXX,1,SetCIDNum(55,a)
exten = _1NXXNXX,2,Dial(IAX2/USER:[EMAIL PROTECTED]/${EXTEN},30,Tt)
