We're using Asterisk
with IAX soft phones to provide communication back to our central office when
our people travel.
We have configured our
firewall to allow UDP 4569 forwarded to Asterisk, and have tested this, works no
problem.
My question is, will
this support more than 1 simultaneo
I apologise if this is considered commercial, but I wanted people to know.
I've been fighting up with Asterisk and the TDM cards to hang-up when a
calling party disconnects, and I know I'm not alone in this fight!
My telco doesn't have polarity reversal for Disconnect Supervision, instead,

You could use a modem/router with a DynDNS server in it, that would take
care of finding the Asterisk address from the outside.
On the Asterisk server you can can (I think by default it is anyway) tell it
to bind to all IP addresses.
