Same problem for me. In asterisk1.4.0 directory solved by;
configure --with-zaptel=../zaptel-1.4.0
make
make install

to phone
- when dialing the device the phone status light flashes on ring but the
telephone does not ring
- tried 2 different phones, same result
- reset to factory and reprovisioned, same result
Is the device defective?
