[asterisk-users] Asterisk 1.8 and Cisco 7920

I was curious to know if anyone has had any luck getting Cisco phones working with Asterisk and chan_skinny? Specifically, a Cisco 7920. If a SIP firmware was available, I'd just use that. It works fine with chan_sccp and 1.6, but my understanding is that chan_sccp does not work with 1.8 yet. My

If memory serves, those errors you see are normal. The phone downloads the slnk_cfg.cfg to see what other files it should get. It then just downloads the first block of each file to compare with what it already has. If it is the same, it breaks the connection, which the TFTP server sees as an er

My understanding is that you need one license for every channel it's being used on, regardless of whether the server is physical or virtual. On Wed, Dec 22, 2010 at 12:20 PM, Olivier wrote: > > 2010/12/22 Bryant Zimmerman >> >> Giorgio >> >> You could buy just a couple of licenses 3 to 5. It wou

I don't think a module compiled for Asterisk 1.4 will work with any other Asterisk version. On Wed, Dec 22, 2010 at 8:58 AM, Giorgio Incantalupo wrote: > pbx18*CLI> module load codec_g729-ast14-gcc4-glibc-pentium3.so > Unable to load module codec_g729-ast14-gcc4-glibc-pentium3.so > Command 'modul

I happened to see it pop up on the bug tracker. Issue #0018515. Very funny error message in the patch. On Wed, Dec 22, 2010 at 6:41 AM, Steve Davies wrote: > On 21 December 2010 22:06, Tilghman Lesher wrote: >> On Monday 20 December 2010 14:39:36 Ernie Dunbar wrote: >>> We have an issue with o

[asterisk-users] Asterisk and Tandberg Gatekeeper

Has anyone had any luck getting Asterisk 1.6.2.13 to register to a Tandberg Gatekeeper? The logs on the Asterisk end seem to show that the registration request is sent, and the Tandberg Gatekeeper responds. However, the response doesn't seem to be what Asterisk was expecting. Here is my ooh323.c
