I need to replace our current 1 port pri card with a quad port card. I'm
currently using the newest AsteriskNOW distro. Are there any issues I should
expect to run into? I'm hoping the transition will be smooth, however I
havent had to do this in the past.

I installed AsteriskNow1.7 and am trying to load the res_snmp module to
monitor the system. Am I correct in saying that compiling asterisk from
source and including the module is the only way to accomplish this? I’m a
little worried about simply downloading the same source version as my
current
is matched?
Thanks

Hi list..
Using asterisk 1.0.10 and the cdr_mysql addon to write CDR records to a
MySQL table. That part works great. The issue is that I also need the
Master.csv text CDR log and thusly have the cdr_csv.so module loaded.
The problem is, after 10-15 mins of activity, it just.. stops writing.
I wish I could on this box. It is in the plans, but we can't do that
just yet. Is this a known issue with the cdr_csv module in the 1.0
branch ??

Hello everyone..
I'm trying to lock down my asterisk install as much as possible and I
keep reading about people saying 'you can narrow the range of ports in
rtp.con' (by default it's from 1 to 2 I think).
My question is this - how much can I narrow it down? Can I narrow it to
10 ports,

Does anyone have any information on configuring app_icd (or know of any

I can (obviously) allow them to '0' out to voicemail
Hello folks,
I'm using Asterisk stable 1.0.7 in a small call center environment with

I think you're looking for the 'ChanSpy' application that seems to have

I have already compiled the chan_sccp module. It is working just fine.
My main issue is actually configuring/loading the software the 7914 and
then using it like a main switchboard.
Thanks Again,
