this all started because my company liked the hardware and wanted to buy
some but had concerns about how legal they actually was. so i requested the
fcc #'s. because if we was going to buy 4-8 cards with the supporting
hardware we wanted to make sure we was covered. because without
you know, i asked diguim guys for this info and got nothing. so my company
decided to produce these cards for our own use and have them tested for FCC,
CA and CE certs
est. for testing we got back, range between $7,500 - $9,500 (USD) for all
three.
we are also surprised that the quote we got for

as for cert process. it's easier then many folks have stated. in most places
a mere statement of conformity by manufacturer will do (cost in US is ~$900)

our equipment is in a data center which requires us to carry over $2 million
in insurance to us the place. however if we put uncertified equipment and a
fire happens then our insurance will not cover. as for the euro certs we
would like to place equipment over there shortly and would like to have
