The list had no incoming spam filtering for some time; that has now been
fixed.

Unfortunately, that is the least of the spam problems. Spammers have
subscribed to the list and are harvesting the addresses. I would prefer
all emails coming from the list to cloak the original posters email
address.
So you can't reply directly? As if the broken reply-to wasn't enough...
