I have strong unsolved problem with echo while using asterisk as a SIP to PSTN gateway. The PSTN side is built with an OpenLine 4 from Voicetronix and the SIP is from GrandStream.
The echo I here is at the SIP side but not at the PSTN side. I have played with OL4 API to try to tune the echo canceller with no success. As there is not echo canceller a the SIP side I would like to seen your comments about inserting some echo cancel code (from zaptel driver for instance) in the voice path of this configuration.
