I agree, the latest firmware does make a difference to the speakerphone
quality, however it still doesn't hold a candle to a Polycom. That's
not to say it's /bad/, just that it's only good, not absolutely spectacular.

The one thing I've noticed with the latest firmware I've tried (5.2.5) is
that the speaker phone quality is improved quite a bit (full duplex) but
it's very quiet, even turned all the way up.

Customer has approx 20 internal extensions (x-lite, 4
ananlog phones using spa 2100) all these phones have no problem. e.g.
using speakerphone on an analog phone calling to PSTN is good quality.
Only the 942 speakerphone is giving us voice quality problems:
SIP to GSM/PSTN calls with speakerpho
Try visiting CES next week, it might be announced there.
