Same here,
I have a 1-888 number via SIP and DTMF works fine.
I do not have a DTMF type specified but assume it is defaulting
rfc2833 (anyone confirm?)

Try updating to the latest stable version (1.0.7). We are using a
number of LiveVoIP inbound toll-free's and our DTMF is working well.
