Yes. But will not monitor more than 7 of the phones. It lists
them in order of the last name entered into the directory not even in order of
the speed dial setting.
Any ideas? I have more 20 polycom 601/501 phones deployed

I think you need to subscribe to the context where exten 200 exists.
I'm not sure if it'll work with an arbitrary context. You may also
want to try sending the hint to just one phone. I'm not 100% on the

Recently there has been talk of the presence/buddy feature with asterisk
and Polycom phones. I have it setup, and working as expected, however I
can only get 7 buddies to appear on the screen at any given time.
Has anyone gotten more than 7 buddies to appear? I'm just trying to find

Matt,
Can you explain how you were able to get this functionality to work? I
would like also possibly an example configuration file if you could
manage it.
I followed the instructions that Jon put on the list a few weeks ago:

You know what, I am getting the same thing.. Just got a chance to
play around with it and wouldn't you know, I don't see more than 7 at
a time. I never noticed since I haven't really had a need for more
than 3 or 4.
Seems like a strange limitation IMHO.
