Yes, I do, though I use odbc to connect to the postgres database

a previously CVS'd download of STABLE you are NOT getting the most recent
version of asterisk.

I've made progress but I'm still havng some troubles. I can get my devices to
register but when I try to make a call, I get silence and some SQL failures.

Its hard to use RealTime when the version of Asterisk that you are using
doesn't contain any RealTime code. You need to upgrade to latest version.
