Hello List,
I am looking at implementing auto callwait on my asterisk box ( has
single FXS to which my phone is connected).
Is there a way to terminate the current active call (soft-hangup) and auto
accept the new incoming call ? (I don't care for call indication).
Please advice,
Is it possible to send callwaiting callerid to a channel without
actually having a call waiting, I'm thinking if messaging a handset
through the manger interface for example?

I have a standard analog POTS service attached to a TDM401 card.
My zapata.conf for this line has:
; PSTN connected here
;immediate=no
;busydetect=yes
;busycount=8
;musiconhold=default
mailbox=100
mwimonitor=fsk
mwilevel=512
mwimonitornotify=/usr/local/sbin/zapnotify.sh
faxdetect=incoming

I think that this was MEANT for inclusion into the source but never
quite made it, except in the documentation. I have been meaning to
request that the bug be reopened, because we rely heavily on inbound
call queues and need that
Is it possible for an agent using agentcallbacklogin to have
callwaiting? If the agent already has a call and another call is queued it
would be nice if the agent could see that there is more calls in the queue...

You can get the same result - well, maybe better - using a monitorin tool
that will display the availabe calls in the queue. QueueMetrics does it,
and FOP will do this too.
Hope this helps

Hi,
there is a config parameter ringinuse according to the queue.conf
documentation. It seems that this has no effect even for SIP and I
looked in the source code and I can't see that this parameter is used
anywhere in the source code. Is this parameter supposed to work?
The problem is that
Anyone got callwaitingcallerid working succesfull on
nortel/aastra/.../... 390 ADSI Phone?
It will be great if someone share some ADSI Scripts for these phones also.
Thanks

I have some phones that purport to handle this properly but am having
quite a time figuring out just when to expect it to work and when not
to. Limited to Zap channels? Zap and SIP, but in different manners?
Sieving the list archives yielded more questions than answers.

Hi all,
In order to get the CallerID from PSTN (X100P) I have modified callerid.c
file like that:
callerid.c [line 256]
from:
case 3: /* Number (for Zebble) */
to
/*case 3: Number (for Zebble) */
Without this modification my own number was displayed as the inoming call

Looking at the source of channels/chan_sip.c, the threewaycalling
parameter seems not to be
At least any way I've tried. I put callwaiting = no in sip.conf in
the [general] section and in the section for my specific phone, and it
still sends through calls even though I'm already on the line.
How can I disable it?
