Hi,
I have an asterisk 1.4.35 server with a Digium TE410P (1st gen) four
port T1 card. Only one RBS T1 plugged into it right now.
I have been getting complaints about random hangups. Endpoints are all
remote, but I track very closely the latency (by graphing the output of
"sip show peers") whic
I've a TDM400 with dahdi 2.1.0.4, asterisk 1.6.1-rc5. Asterisk is
randomly hanging up calls coming over the pstn. Often it happens right
as the call is answered:

Well, I thought and hoped my issue of random hangups on our TDM400P were
related to busydetect=yes in zapata.conf. The behavior of a call being
hungup has not changed, however, since setting the busydetect option to
'no'. Again, the only affected user is my loud talker...
What are some causes/solu
You're not rubbing it in. I asked because there are people like
yourself on this list that know a great deal about telephony and
asterisk.
I didn't have callprogress set but I DID have busydetect=yes. I set
busydetect=no and restarted, I hope this solves it.
I know it has to be something in my
In your example 1, it shows the hangup started on the PRI channel. Do
you have busydetect or callprogress set in your
/etc/asterisk/zapata.conf file? If so, comment them out as they are not
necessary for your PRI lines.
Not to rub it in, but that isn't the normal behavior for asterisk. My
PRI work
Is anyone experiencing random hang-ups while in a call? I'm using Cisco
7940s with Catalyst 2950s, QOS enabled. The PRI channels (Zap/g1) are
connected to a Digium T100P.
In the call, asterisk is issuing a hang-up, not the other end.
example 1:
-- Executing Dial("SIP/Derek-1-5a13", "Zap/g1/
That was happening here and it turned out to be something completely
out of the ordinary.
Our customer service reps plugged their phones into UPS's. Every once
in a while
the UPS will click over to battery, and as soon as that happened, the
call disconnected.

These lines are commented, I'm not setting either busydetect or callprogress.
I''m not sure what is their defaults.
Busydetect was set to yes before, but it gave much more random hangups.

Hi ,
I''m getting random hangups on zap channels with long calls. It seems that the
hungup happens after 10 minutes or so. AbsoluteTimeout is set to 0. Any other
thing I should be configuring?
Thanks!
