I have a customer with a small outgoing call center. Usually only 3 to
5 agents online. We are still using Agent/XXX channels in this
application on Asterisk 1.4.18. I have an autodialer that is making the
outgoing calls and then dropping them into a Queue where all the agents
are logged

I wonder if on Asterisk 1.2.X calls from queue answered by Agent channel
still must be transfered only by Asterisk internal transfer (features)
like on 1.0.X ?
The wiki says on

when a call file is used to place a call FROM an agent the agent is flagged as
busy/unavail even
if the call is subsequently transfered.
call file has..."Channel: AGENT/blah"...
Any way to stop the agent channel being flagged as busy?

Hi,
I am using stable 1.0.2 version.
When I dialedin and joined a queue which in turn calls up a group( I
have only one agent logged-in, in the group ) in agent channel, it
worked well.
Keeping this call active, I made a second call which was placed in
queue, as it is intended.
