As it has been said many many times before, Fax detection is an art and
most of the time is not reliable. Faxing on the other hand, using
iaxmodem along with HylaFAX+ works very well. Search the arc

I was not clear. I removed the PDF conversion only because the faxes
were ot being recived correctly in most cases. The PDF conversion
worked fine, but who needs a bunch of blank PDF? May as well have
blank TIFF :)
