On a side note with this topic.
I recently ran into problems hosting an Asterisk box behind a Linksys
4 port Cable/DSL router, the problem was that SIP realy only worked on
it for the first 2-3 minutes. After 2-3 hours of playing around and
blaming the remote routers, I decided to check the latest
phones. Now I can call him be he can't hear anything. Everything else
works fine through the vpn. Most importantly, I can't trouble shoot
correctly. I finally gave up and got him callvantage. Now all I have
to worry about is forwarding a DID number.
I seem to remember some issues like that
