Few questions though...
1. I cannot find a nice website with intiutive FAQ's and WIKI's. Is there
some in progress? This sourceforge mail-system is not my favorite.
2. Configured an SMTP server and assigned a user an ema
It's vSphere5 (is that is an answer to your question). Should that make a
difference?

What VMware are you using? It just worked for me. (VMware Fusion 3.1.2)
Possibly you have disk options when setting up the VM.

I am trying to set up a VMWare instance from the geni586 image, following
