Yes, because "cdr-csv/Master.csv" is on disk and not in RAM as the other log 
files.
And yes "/etc/logrotate.d/asterisk" could be used for this. But I would then 
create a new definition for this.

Also the WebGUI is prepared to switch between several (e.g. monthly splitted) 
*.csv files. 
You need to check "Show multiple *.csv CDR Databases in CDR Log Path" in the 
Prefs/CDR for this to work.
