I'm not too surprised 0.7 didn't boot in your case.
Please try AstLinux 1.0.4, if you wish use build.astlinux.org and build a
custom image with a "FAT16 Partition: 128 MB" which may be desirable for your
case if you have limited Flash.

No use trying any other images, if geni586 fails to boot, any other board type
will fail to boot, as we now use a unified kernel. It probably is failing in
the RUNNIX bootloader.
