Why would you want to though?
The point of astlinux is that it's optimized for a particular hardware
environment.
If you're going to run on VMware on a general purpose computing
platform, then you might as well use a general purpose distro and
Asterisk install as well.

It is certainly possible on VMware. So presumably could install on Xen as
well -- though you are likely the first person to try.
