Cleve, Both OpenVPN and IPsec are supported in AstLinux and are both a superior VPN to PPTP. Granted you have experience with PPTP, I'd give OpenVPN a try, the learning curve is not too high, and OpenVPN is loaded with features... not to mention certificate based identities. http://openvpn.ne
