Hi every body,
to David: my 'top monitoring' seems normal(!) with only a lot of asterisk
processes taking near of 0% of cpu.
I'm just wondering why a 'simple' working extension.conf configuration
working with Asterisk 1.4.21.2 in astlinux version 0.6.2 isn't working
anymore after the upgrade to A
Noel, Can you run "top" from the Linux command line, then test. "Top" will
list all running processes in linux, sorted by CPU use. It refreshes the
screen around once a second. There will be lots of processes, most consuming
0% or low single digits % of CPU time. If running your test you see a

exten => 501,n,Playtones(congestion)
exten => 501,n,Congestion(5)
exten => 501,n,Hangup()

Turn up the verbosity in asterisk. You should see something more
descriptive. I suspect something changed with the newer version of
Asterisk, not something specific to Astlinux. Astlinux 0.6.3 uses
Asterisk 1.4.23.1
What was your prior version?
