I'm setting up a hotspot (access point) on Atheros 2413. It is working in b/g mode on channel 3 with default hostapd settings. I'd like to adjust distance in which i could use it - currently at ~ 12 meters i can see almost half of the signal strength but associating with hotspot fails. On my home router (Asus WL500gPv2) from that distance i can still easily use wifi. What should i adjust and to what values?
