I have a TP-Link TL-WN951N wireless PCI device (AR5008) and trying to make it
work in 802.11n mode with HT and MIMO. According to specifications (
http://www.tp-link.com/products/productDetails.asp?class=&content=spe&pmodel=TL%2DWN951N
) device supports 3*3 MIMO but I'm unable to enable spatial
P-Link TL-WN821N both on
Windows7. The results are the same.

Can anybody suggest a wi-fi PCI adapter to buy that was tested and perfectly
working in HT40 mode? I'm stuck with my TP-Link TL-WN951N...

this option is supported but when I enable this option in hostapd it won't

Yes, I'm sure that this is a right phy device because currently I have only one
connected - TP-Link TL-WN951N. Full "iw list" output look like:
