I built an FC5 MythTV box back on the 16th of
September and updated it with all the latest updates
and used MythTV RPMs from ATrpms.
The hardware:
Compaq 866Mhz P3 w/384MB RAM
250GB hard drive
Hauppauge PVR-350
This box serves as both a frontend and a backend and
uses the video out from the PVR-
I'm not a dummy, but I feel like one on TV. :-)
Any easy way to get ffmpeg with faac support from atrpms? I like the idea of having a package system to help me maintain my mythtv system, and would like to avoid compiling ffmpeg from source.
