Hi, Axel as I told you before, mppdec needed by gnormalize, was broken for the x86_64 architecture. The problem was a nasm code, which only worked on i386. The binutils from F8 detected the problem and the buid failed. However, older binutils just generated a code, which could not execute on x86

I'm not sure what list to post this to, as I can't nail down the problem, and I need some advice. My MythTV backend has been behaving strangely ever since I upgraded to a 2.6.24 kernel...thus the last two updates. The major work the backend does is the transcoding of files using nuvexport/ffmpeg.
