Thanks axel, I have libdvdcss2 installed and I can read DVD's again.
On a second thread, I will try paulo's xine packages. I have a computer
with a new AMD motherboard with terrible xine performance. I think it is
because the catalyst driver will not compile on fedora. Third thread,

I think the sept 28 update of libdvdcss has knocked out k3b. I can no

I just upgraded to f9, installed the atrpms and medley rpms, and
yum-plugin-kmdl.
yum update produced a dependency on fuse-kmdl-2.7.3-8_9.fc9. Where can I
find this, and why do I need it ?

Axel:
while looking for kmdls for the 2948 kernel, I saw
madwifi-0.9.3-34.fc6.i386.rpm and alsa-driver-1.0.14-58_rc3.fc6.i386,
built on May 3. Are these new, or renamed pkgs ?

Any particular instructions for the May 30 "official" madWiFi releases ?
Yumex is showing me both madwifi and madwifi-ng as upgrades, but only
shows me madwifi-kmdl and madwifi-hal-kmdl as upgrades, without the
madwifi-ng-kmdl and madwifi-ng-hal-kmdl.
does madwifi-ng obsolete or replace madwifi ?
The listing web pages:
http://www.atrpms.net/dist/fc5/madwifi/
http://www.atrpms.net/dist/fc5/alsa-driver/
do not show kmdl's for the 2096 kernel,
but the repo download has them:
http://dl.atrpms.net/fc5-i386/atrpms/RPMS.stable/
built on April 23. Pages need updating ?
Carl
Thanks Axel, I am downloading them know.
