What really works is to use libX11 and libX11-devel from Fedora 7. I Tested.
sudo rpm -Uvh --force .

As I told you, if you have access to a computer runningĀ FC6,
it will work.
Sure, I've made a video using FC6 and xvidcap (a previous version), and

success. I open it from the terminal window and push record: nothing.
The programsimply stops responding. Just the beggining gets recorded,
but I can't even eatch the 20kb video file it creates.
