Hi,
I use atrpms on my own servers, and so I would like to use it for a work
server too.
I also use the Smart Package Manager, and so would also like to use that
on this server too.
Unfortunately, I don't have control over the OS version - it's Fedora

The last couple of nights my 'smart upgrade' has had two packages to
change. Firstly it wanted to upgrade libdca which meant downgrading vlc.
Last night it upgraded vlc again, and now it's downgrading it again
while upgrading libdca.
Is this happening for anyone else?

Hi,
I decided to do a fresh FC6 install instead of upgrade, but I forgot to
make a note of what I had installed previously.
I still have the disk which I can connect to the system again. I'd
prefer not to boot from it if possible. Is there a way to get what
packages were installed?

I selected the web server option.
I'm used to using smart package manager, but it doesn't seem to work :

Hi,
I can't seem to boot 2.6.15-1.1831_FC4. I can still boot the previous
version.
I'm running on an AMD64, nforce3 250Gb chipset.
When booting, all appears normal until :

I did find time to experiment a little with the settings.

How can I go about installing a new version of the samba system?
The current one (3.0.14a) doesn't work with Mac OS X as a client, and I
can't seem to get it to work from XP either (though I haven't looked
into that). I'm told 3.0.20b and later work fine.
