forgot to mention on using F17 on 32bit version
ie

The reason I'm a bit reluctant is the response time to fix seems a bit
variable lately so as this is my WAF production box I'm not going to rush

I've just recently upgraded mythTV
I tried after the last kernel update and I'm still getting O/S freeze after
a while when I installed the latest Nvida drivers.
Can anyone tell me if this is a known issue with MythTV or is it a Fedora
problem?
Has this been reported to Nvidia yet?
thanks
hmm,
I tried a few 'yum updates' this morning and issue seems to be gone now..
not sure what happened I didn't do anything on my end as far as I know,
apart from your suggestions and they didn't have any immediate affect.
anyway thanks for looking into it for me , I'll let you know if it
yes confirmed.
and looks like the presto drpms are now available, it reduced download
from 49M to 4Mb (91%)
ouptut is now :
[r...@mythbox default]# mythbackend --version
Please attach all output as a file in bug reports.
MythTV Version : 27334M
MythTV Branch: branches/release-0-24-fixes
looks like either some index issue or file is missing
output:
[r...@mythbox default]# yum install alsa-driver

How do we correlate your rpm fixes with the Myth SVN site?

Would it be possible to get a atrpm of the dvdauthor package as I see
the new MythArchive is requiring this as a pre-req and it would be handy
to get this and all Myth related packages all from same repo.
Otherwise could you recommend another repo I should add to my yum config
to source this
