Just Installed this new package and the permissions are still wrong and
faad cant run as permissions are
[lemonzest@electronicbox ~]$ ls -al /usr/bin/faad
-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 50104 Sep 5 09:44 /usr/bin/faad

I use scientificlinux6 and el6-i386 repo.
Permission of /usr/bin/faad is 0644.
Is this right?
$ rpm -qpi ~/faad2-2.7-16.el6.i686.rpm
Name: faad2Relocations: (not relocatable)
Version : 2.7 Vendor: ATrpms.net
Release : 16.el6
No, the permissions are not right. I installed this a week or two ago on
a CentOS 6 x86_64 box and had to do a chmod 755 /usr/bin/faad.
