In many (most) cases I'm happy with the default commands that auctex
wants to run, yet I'm offered a default which I have to accept by

Er, I am not sure that I am understanding your feedback.
Do you mean that the `C-c .' keybinding with a negative argument could be used
to navigate in environments.

Hm, I'm not sure I like this. I'd probably prefer to introduce
navigation functions for enviro
I use auctex11.85 in emacs 23 in gentoo .
I can not preview equation number and tag .
when an environment includes number or tags ,I can not preview it .
I can see a red circle and a minus in it .
