just send a few patches for integration. So yes, please go ahead. (Unfortunately that will not make it into Debian/jessie, as we are freezing in a few days, and a big new release normally needs quite some time ... - but I might be wrong, if everything happens quickly

fo tells me: --dvi, --dvipdf, --ps, --pdf call texi2dvi to generate given output. Hm... Anyway, one can leave the texi2dvi and texi2pdf as is, and just use makeinfo for html. I will inquire with texinfo people why makeinfo --pdf and texi2pdf behave differentl
