The latest 14.0.0 Elpa release does not work for me. During the update
Emacs hang. I killed the Emacs process. After that, 14.0.0 identified
itself as installed and 13.3.0 was left behind as a dependency. So I
uninstalled both and reinstalled 14.0.0 which worked. But now LaTeX-mode
does not work. V
This is just to notify you that an upgrade from v13.3.0 to 14.0.0 on a
self-built GNU Emacs 29.2 on macOS Ventura has failed. Emacs froze with
100% CPU usage. v14.0.0 was downloaded from ELPA, but something hung in
the installation process. I'm afraid have no idea what went wrong, so I
downgraded t
Version 14.0.0 of package Auctex has just been released in GNU ELPA.
You can now find it in M-x list-packages RET.
