i got also an error but fixed it by setting the language in properties. press alt enter to go into the properties menu and hit tab untill you reach the language box, there type the language you're translating into.

SPOILERif you really want to cheat then you can do so by using cheat engine, you can have as many lives and as many arrows you want but i suggest you try to finish the game without cheats first, it's more fun and challenging this way.endofspoiler
