You dont want to contact the developers about this. They did not write the mandarin support for eSpeak and will not be able to fix it. You might want to find the developers of mandarin for eSpeak, but these will be completely separate from the NVDA devs.

This is a beta speech synthesizer being written by the NVDA developers. They hope to make a responsive synthesizer that is better than eSpeak. They are currently in the early stages.

The applications should stay in the background, so you shouldnt need to have the window open all the time. The archive will stay up as long as Carlos wants it to. Since it is maintained by all of the people on the folder, it doesnt go down unless all of them

Actually, two things here.1. Yes, the SAPI engine is Unicode, but many of the things that send text to it are not. I know there was trouble getting non-Unicode text to work in BGT, and this could cause problems. By the way, Vietnamese, unlike most other Asian
