That curser thing is interesting though I have noticed on windows people often dont know the difference between back space and delete, ie, back space removes the letter behind! the curser position, delete removes what the curser is actually on. Visually the curser isnt

Hi.Yep, you can open pretty much any text file format on the mac that you can open with windows.As for powerpoint and spreadsheets, I think you can use open office or apples pages to access those, though I dont know how well VoiceOver handles those types of things.I dont

Dark, no the doc and dox file formats are not proprietary to Windows or Microsoft Office. As you know I am a Linux user, and I can compose and read doc and dox files in OpenOffice, LibreOffice, and StarOffice. So its not a case of if you chose Mac or Linux of not being
