Re: I need an online bank account Hi,Requesting ID is a really normal thing to ask for. I also use transferwise borderless account. It does charge fees, but it doesn't  mark up the exchange rates and charges a really low fee which is transparently shown.  You need to scan both sides of ID

Re: I need an online bank account First, if they're not verifying your identity, you absolutely shouldn't bank with them because they aren't reputable.  This is an amazingly efficient way to lose all your money.  Scanning and sending your ID is fine, and a very normal thing to ask
