You can record with obs, first off, it was repeating my screen reader but after I went into settings and changed a couple things; everything is working fine.This is such an easy program to use, wow.

if you are using a nother desktop channel to speak to them simply add that one to the audio devices

I would advise against virtual recorder's record both option. What tends to happen, at least in my experience, is the game audio and your voice will become more and more out of sync as the recording goes on.

your best bet is to just go into OBS studio and click start recording. It really can't get much easier, so you should be set quite quickly. It automatically records desktop and microphone and you can adjust the volume if people comment on it or if you

You could literally just use Virtual Recorder, where you can record both what you can hear, plus your microphone. I'm pretty sure you can also just do the same in OBS, just check to start recording, not stream.
