Django really isn't all that bad; you can get a lot done quickly with it. In terms of tools, all you need is a text editor, a terminal, and access to documentation for your framework.

I know Basic Markdown and HTML. I think the best resource for learning by-hand website building is referring to W3Schools, they have really good tutorials for stuff like that.

i was just thinking about switching to a linux envirement for web coding, especially now that i'm learning node js, freecode code camp and the odin project has bin a lot of help for me about testing my skills on building

You can save yourself a lot of trouble if you grab Nikola, Jekyll, or any number of the other static site generators, documentation on how to write Markdown, and a terminal.

i happened to use frontpage almost 6 years ago i think when i started to learn coding, it was mostly on html creating simple web pages, that's the only one i used back thennow a days i wright codes by hand for php or _java
