2 quite fantastic releases are just in from choiceofgames and hosted games,

and Best of us
Sea eternal is from the author of creatures such as we,and I have got to say, its quite excellent, in fact just IMO of course much much better than creatures such as we. Not to say that was bad,but there's something about the sea that has always fasinated me and this is not just about sea but mermaids, veils, giant squids and such. It also has elements which make you actually think when you play it. Should you have complete freedom to do as you would even though you might not be aware of all the consequences, change things just for the heck of it? and so on.
As soon as I'm done writing this post I'm grabbing this one, for sure.
Although it does seem at certain places that its a little rushed or the author did not exactly get to spread it out longer but then I've only played the demo so far and so I might be entirely wrong.

Best of us is one of those superhero stories released under hosted games, I have no clue if its just as linear as the hero series but it certainly has loads of customization everything from the powers you could have to the costumes you'd ware to the training you choose. Have yet again only tried the demo so far,but it has potential if it is done well and indeed shows promise if the author decides to carry on forward.
