5, exactly that is what I expect to see, but the console opens and I see nothing, I can not read hello world.I also tried adding more tekst in 3 rows but I can't see it, you know in eclipse I can perfectly fine use arrows to go through tekst that I printed.

@1Give VSCode a try too. I'm not sure of the differences, but VSCode seems to just work out of the box.There's some slowness with NVDA ATM, but I believe that is getting sorted, and it's still more than usable.

What do you mean you didn't see the result? what did you expect to see? it should open a console window with hello world and if you run it with debugger, on the last line of the windowyou should see press any key to continue.

Thanks for the tipp SkyLord As for debugger, I wrote Hello world, ran it with debugger and I was not able to see the result, any idea why that happens?

I use visual studio with nvda and it works great, no slowdowns or whatever. In advanced, set checkbox Enable selective registration for UI Automation events and property changes and it will enhance things drastikly. Before 2020.3 working with vs was way more

As much as I don't like Jaws, this is one moment where you're going to very much want to have it. When you use it with NVDA, it slows to a crawl and things just don't work very well.
