@Techmaster20, you are correct on that matter. The issue is this: boot camp is the best method on macs currently to install Windows - unless your mac has too SSDs, at which you can install boot camp and windows on the second drive and leave Mac OS X

honestly, bootcamp is more buggy than vmware fusion. if you have enough ram, and a good and recent processor, windows does not lag as much as people think. windows will lag, sometimes, whether you have a vm, or a native install. vmware does not require that you

Ill look into it although Im not sure if my disk has a working recovery hd volume. Im thinking of installing windows through bootcamp so I dont have so many issues playing my favorite games

Thats a risk you take when you instal a beta. Its still unfortunate though that you lost your data. If you want to try out betas in the future, you may want to install them on a separate partition to reduce the risk of losing data if something goes wrong.
