If Edge is broken, that's really bad, as it's the only really quality accessible Epub reader on Windows that can play interactive content.Have you reported what is happening as a bug?

Isn't the Kindle app it's self not that bad for this? At least last time I heard. I can't remember if it was better with JAWS or NVDA (I'm guessing JAWS) but my mom used it just fine.

I use adobe reader and calibre (ebook-convert) for pdf files (depends on the file, if the pdf is properly tagged adobe reader is fine and calibre messes it up sometimes (ms word creates tagged pdfs), if untagged calibre usually does a

I usually convert them to HTML using Calibre tools. But that requires you know how to use the command line

back In 2017 I used to read epub files with help of an add-on for firefox. It was easy to use, although I'm not sure if it's an option anymore

There's QRead from getaccessibleapps.com, but it's not free. If you only need to read a book this once, you could get a seven-day trial. Other than that, I don't know of anything.

that's the only issue that I have with epub file reader, but you can easily work around that by using nvda's object navigator in stead of the arrow keys, you can easily view all chapters that way and pressing the left mouse button activates that item.

I second the recommendation of QRead.Also, you got Calibre to Work? Neat...I never found that accessible, but it's been a while since I tried fooling around with it, so might've changed.

Epub file reader almost works, except that I can't find a way of switching easily between the tree view, and the content of that section. Also, I can't navigate through the items of the tree view even if I manage to get focus there because it moves

EpubReader kind of works, but weird things happen when i hit the next chapter button; the toolbar at the bottom disappears, and i can no longer find the table of contents. I need to switch out and in of firefox to see it again which is wierd

Does anyone know of an accessible epub reader for windows? I've been using calibre to convert them into a big html file which isn't ideal because JAWS and even NVDA take a minute to process the resultant html files for books of over 500 pages.
