Hi.When you set up the virtual machine, you can choose how big you want the harddrive to be. So it sounds like you have make too big a harddrive.

I would first clear some harddrive space. Even updates don't take that much space, so I'd say have at a bare minimum 20gb free, or run the virtual machine off an external hard drive. There are 2tb semi-hybrid drives available

I’m using VMware on my Mac like you. I think it might be because windows keeps trying to download updates, but i’m Not sure how to stop it.

If that's a concern for you, you really need to get to saving space on that drive before you try running windows 10. Honestly. Go get an external drive to store excess content on, and then come back to the virtual machine with a lot better
does anyone have a windows10 virtual machine?
hii've noticed that when installing windows10 via an iso file it takes up a shit tun of storage, meaning i have to delete a lot of files for it to work, and even then it's never enough, sooner or later i'll get your disk is almost full
