Re: firefox users: pick your ad blocker
I've also had this issue occasionally. I'm using Firefox on Linux with Orca. Pressing tab or refreshing the page fixes it for me. I haven't seen this problem pop up in a week or two, though.

Re: firefox users: pick your ad blocker
hi,I also had this problem. But in my case, refreshing doesn't fix it. This problem doesn't seem to appear in firefox 50.

Re: firefox users: pick your ad blocker
I've actually been having horrible luck with firefox lately. Using NVDA and at points the page shows up as a huge block of text. Links, headings, etc all flow together and aren't clickable. This is really a problem right after I complete an order
Re: firefox users: pick your ad blocker
Hi,I recently switched to UBlocker as well. I am satisfied so far. FF seems to be much faster now. But I have one question. How can I exclude a website from being blocked? Or how can I temporarily turn off UBlock?

Re: firefox users: pick your ad blocker
hi,The issue is not turning off the add blocker. I just want to exclude the elements of the sight that are blocked. The adds on the page cause nvda to wrap to the top of the page.

Re: firefox users: pick your ad blocker
You can tell UBlock origin to permanently exclude blocking a specific site

the thing I really do like about UO though is the interface, unlike with adblock nvda can read everythingalthough I suppose that doesn't really matter too much since I have very little to no idea what I'm doing regardless,

Re: firefox users: pick your ad blocker
hi all, sorry for yet another post. Both addblock plus and ublock origin break a site (ESL lab) which I need to use for my presentation 2 days from now. They prevent the listening questions and quiz from showing up. I'd disable the blocker

Re: firefox users: pick your ad blocker
hi,I was using adblock plus until now, however after reading comments online, I downloaded origin ublock. Memory usage in firefox has decreased significantly. Also I notice faster page loads.

Definitely uBlock Origin. Before I started using uBlock Origin, I was using AdBlock Edge. It's basically the same as AdBlock Plus, but without the approved ads garbage.(EDIT: Ah, I just checked on AdBlock Edge, and it looks like it was discontinued

uBlock Origin. I love how you can customize the lists it uses for blocking. I also use it to hide more than just adds, like the Facebook and Twitter buttons plastered all over the place. The default lists also don't allow companies to pay to bypass

I'm posting this purely out of curiosityfor those who use firefox, which ad blocker if any do you use?I've been using adblock plus for quite a while, however decided to download and at least try uBlock origin after I read that it's apparently easier
