Re: indentation, how to get used to it I use VSCode as my current editor, so it does indentation automatically when I'm in a block level. If you press enter, it keeps the same indentation as in previous line so you just need to know when unindent. It's a bit easier with braced languages

Re: indentation, how to get used to it I set it to speech as I find the tones a bit overwelming and I find that they cover my speech at times. Like, if I have an if block indented by 4 spaces, the beep might block the word "if" URL: https://forum.audiogames.net/post/53450

Re: indentation, how to get used to it If you use visual studio code, on most languages it will do the indentation for you if they use curly braces. If you are doing Python, your best bet is to set NVDA to report indentation as tones in document formatting, then it will be a breeze to skim

Re: indentation, how to get used to it Notepad2 works fine, because that's what I use (although I feel like I should grow up and use something better).Notepad++ goes further (like Camlorn said), so if you type try: and press enter, it automatically increases your indent level. URL: https

Re: indentation, how to get used to it I have no idea. Maybe someone else does.Autoindentation is also helpful.  For Python this usually means that it indents for you after for, if, etc. but won't unindent (because if it did that automatically it'd have to be as smart as you

Re: indentation, how to get used to it Practice makes perfect, but finding an editor which will keep the indentation of the previous line will be a significant help if you haven't.  Notepad++ has this setting, and when enabled you can tab to increase by the configured amount of spaces
